Marina Veterinary Clinic is an independent, owner-operated practice with named vets (Sarah and Niall) and reception support (Kelly-Ann/Kellyanne) mentioned repeatedly in reviews. The clinic appears set up for both routine appointments and urgent situations, including a stated 24-hour on-call emergency service and at least one owner describing being seen out of hours on a Sunday morning. Reviewers also describe a calm, quiet clinic environment that helped nervous cats, and multiple people mention vets taking time to explain options and treatments, including in complex cases (an older dog with multiple medical problems and a “big surgery”).

I would be amazed if there are more caring and professional vets in Cork than Sarah, Niall and Kelly-Ann. They love animals and are so caring and kind. I cannot thank them enough for looking after our dog. Highly recommend

Went to Marina Veterinary Clinic today and met Niall. A sound guy who gave me some great advice and cared really well for my cat. Fair prices too and an independent Veterinary clinic worth supporting!

Lovely clinic, very calm and quiet in there and vet Sarah was lovely. My cat Callie was nervous but everything was very chill and quick, and she was happy to get a few treats as well!

Independent vet clinic newly opened. The 2 vets running it are the owners. Reception is manned by someone who always takes an interest in the furry visitors and will invariably come out from behind the desk to meet the patient. Reception is bright and airy. Prices seem reasonable to me in comparison with the big veterinary chain clinics. Am very happy with the service.

My first time going to the marina vets and it was a five star experience. Super welcoming and highly knowledgeable staff. Delighted to have found a private vets practice where I know my dog will be very well looked after.

One of the best vets in Cork City – kind, compassionate, and our dog Luna is always butt wagging with happiness to visit. They’ve been with us from day one, and we feel very lucky. Highly recommend, especially for new dog owners. Thanks Sarah, Niall and Kelly Anne

Can’t recommend Niall enough, helped us at an incredibly difficult time with a pet dog. He was so courteous at welcoming us out of hours on a Sunday morning and had a diagnosis for the dog within moments and put us at ease. Sadly it was the dogs time and she didn’t make it, but Niall’s empathy and patience to allow us see her after she passed will be something we will forever be grateful for. We were given all the time and space we needed to say a proper goodbye and Niall looked after all arrangements as efficiently as you could want. If you’re ever in this situation god forbid, I can’t think of a safer pair of hands for your pet to be in.

I couldn't recommend this vets more! I have been taking my dog to Sarah and Niall for the last number of years and followed them to this new clinic. My dog is fairly old and has had quite a few medical problems and a big surgery. They have always taken the time to explain everything to me so I understand my options and how best to look after my dog with her treatments. Kellyanne is wonderful and so welcoming - putting my dog at ease as soon as she comes in. They are a dream team - they love animals and have my full trust.
