'Christine at Glasslyn Vets was absolutely wonderful last week when we had to say goodbye to our beloved Bassett hound Badger - and Grainne the nurse was so kind and considerate. I couldn't recommend Glasslyn Vets highly enough. Thank you to everyone at the Bandon clinic. Alice xx

Have been taking our baby girl Joey here for a number of years and she was always treated so well by the girls. Unfortuneatly she passed recently and they arranged everything for us and little keepsakes that I didn't think about at the time in her sudden passing. Would have no problem recommending Glasslyn Bandon, thanks again guys, Joey's mom x

I feel I need to share with others my experience with glasslyn vets today. Is if my day wasn't bad enough . I contacted glasslyn vets this morning at 6.50am as my 5yr cocker spaniel had collapsed as I let him out of his kennel . Explained this to receptionist and she told me she would contact vet and the vet would ring me back shortly . At 9.15am vet finally rang me back . Spoke to vet and explained what had happened. The lady vet in question was covering the bandon area . She then explained her fees to be totally horrified that because I wasn't a member of the practice there was a fee of 340euro and then after that there was gonna be examination fees plus treatment fees and medication fees . I understand that it was out of hrs /emergency . I was prepared to travel to the practice so I could have my dog treated . . I can't understand how they can justify these fees or are they just taking advantage of the situation that vulnerable people find themselves in with their pets . Unfortunately my cocker spaniel had to be put to sleep this morning due to heart failure . My dog has no symptoms or warning signs but I feel that this practice was just in it for the money not for the love and welfare of animals . Would love to hear the practices views on this matter cause I feel it was disgusting how u can justify these fees Padraic Murray

I am not sure they know what they are doing ! Our lab Snoop ( 3 years old) was 8 months after surgeries and treatments to arrive to the point “We can’t do more” … Changed the clinic and in a month he was helped , healed and finally having a normal happy life ! I recommend ,stay away from that place ,specially if it’s a complicated case !!!!!

Our rescue dog was referred for amputation surgery from Macroom and although the staff had suffered a terrible loss of a colleague, they were outstandingly accommodating getting our dog into the clinic. We only had him two weeks at the time and he's super anxious and terrified of new surroundings and unfortunately car journeys. Everyone must have had him spoilt in the clinic he wanted to go back in when we left haha. His care was clearly excellent and everyone in the clinic was so friendly and helpful. Shout out to Gráinne and Christine especially.

I could not recommend the Glasslyn veterinary clinic in Bandon any higher than a 100/10. My furbaby Joey was not a fan of the vets but the Glasslyn vets in Bandon changed that. Everyone is so caring, attentive patient and help in every way they can. I will be forever grateful 💖💖💖💖
