Cashman Veterinary Hospital is a long-established practice that has focused exclusively on companion animals since late 2019 (per its website). The website highlights a small-animal setup with a Surgery Center and Diagnostics, plus practical day-to-day support like prescription refills and pet food ordering. In reviews, some owners describe clear communication around testing and decision-making (including being “walked through every step” and given options), while one reviewer reports a serious dispute about how a found, injured dog was handled and says they were asked to leave after raising concerns.

I found a dog yesterday when i was going back from work. I catch the dog as I spotted broken leg when she try to run away. Once i catch her i went straight to hospital near me( and that was the worst decision i make). I offer help, that i gonna pay full bill and that i will find rescue to help to take care of the dog, as female dog hasnt got microchip( is that actually illegal in Ireland?!). Instead of that doctor( short brunette curly hair, around 35-40yrs) search on social media hunting groups does someone is looking for a dog( thats the explanation doctor gave me). A person without ownership took dog from hospital. Doctor didnt help at all. On her responsibility should be first help neglected dog and then search for owner. From the other hand cruelty of animals is under the law, and most of the wounds are not from week or two when dog was missing... in my opinion doctor should kept the dog and call guards or dog warden or anybody who could help. When i mention that to the doctor she freaked and kicked me out of the permisess. Someone who allowed people treating animals like that, shouldn’t call themselves a DOCTOR. Broken leg, ribs, issues with breathing(becouse of ribs) wounds all around body and paws...and she left “owner” to take such in need dog. Shame on You!

Very friendly and professional service. Walked me through every step they took and the reasons for doing so. Explained the meaning of the tests to me and gave me all the options with no judgement of my decision. Will recommend to friends and family.
